Below you can read about cookies in general and then about the data processing carried out by the cookies used on our website.

2. About cookies in general

2.1. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small piece of data (a variable-length, alphanumeric information packet) that the server of the website you are browsing sends to your device. The cookie is stored in the browser of your computer, phone or tablet, and can later be read by the sending server. Cookies cannot be read by other websites, only by the website that placed them there. Cookies provide us with information about visitors' habits when using the website. Cookies can be used for various purposes, e.g. to measure website traffic or to facilitate browsing by remembering previously opened pages on the website. No cookie contains any personal information that would directly allow anyone to contact you by email, telephone or post. Cookies themselves cannot identify users; they can only recognise the visitor's device. If you do not wish to accept the use of cookies on the website, you can set your web browser to notify you when cookies are placed or to prevent them from being placed.

2.2. How can you control the operation of cookies?

We place cookies on the device you use to visit our website (computer, phone or tablet). When you start browsing our website, we will inform you about this in a pop-up window when the home page loads.

We do not need your consent to place cookies that are necessary to ensure the functionality and convenience of our website. We do need your consent to start using cookies that identify your device, as well as those used for anonymous visitor analysis and data collection for marketing purposes. We ask for your consent in the pop-up window mentioned above. You can open this window at any time by clicking on „Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page and change your consent to individual data collection at a later date.

Regardless of the above settings provided by us, you can decide at any time to disable and delete cookies in your web browser settings. However, please note that without the use of „necessary/functional” cookies, you will not be able to access many features that make browsing easier, and some of our services may not function properly.

2.3. Managing cookie settings in browsers

You can change your cookie settings in the pop-up window or through your browser. You can disable cookies by activating the setting in your browser that allows you to refuse all or certain cookies. These settings are usually available in the „settings” or „preferences” menu of your browser. You can find more information about this by using the following links:

2.4. Types of cookies

Cookies can be valid during the work process – so-called temporary or session cookies – or permanent – saved (persistent cookies) – cookies, and we distinguish between first-party (internal) and third-party (external) cookies. Below you can read what these terms mean so that you can better understand the cookies we use and why we use them.

2.5. Cookies valid during browsing

Cookies that are valid during your browsing session enable you to be recognised when you visit our website, allowing your browser to remember any page changes or selections you make as you browse from page to page within the website. These cookies allow you to quickly and easily navigate through and back through multiple pages on a website without having to identify yourself on each page you visit or repeat processes (e.g. filling out a form). When you finish browsing the site or close your browser, but within a few hours at most, these cookies are automatically deleted from your device.

2.6. Persistent cookies

Persistent cookies are cookies that remain „persistent” on your computer for a certain period of time (their validity is defined in days, weeks, months or years) after the browsing process has ended, thereby allowing the recall of user preferences or actions during subsequent visits to the website (e.g. data entered into a form on a given page can be stored using their application). Saved cookies are stored on your device until their expiry date, but you can delete them before the predefined expiry date.

2.7. Cookies from the website operator

Cookies from the server of the website you are browsing. In this case, these are functional and convenient cookies from the server hosting the website operated by the Data Controller, the general characteristics and operation of which are described above. These cookies record the IP address of your device, the pages you visit while using the website, and, if you choose, any data you enter. This allows you to avoid having to repeat processes regularly when using the website, such as opening a new page or returning to the website after leaving it, by opening the same pages or, at your discretion, re-entering data. We use cookies to ensure that registered users of our website have the appropriate permissions; once a user has logged in to the website, they are granted the necessary permissions. These cookies do not store any other information in this regard, not even when you logged in or who logged in; we simply use them to verify your login permissions.

These cookies are known as session cookies, meaning they are valid for the duration of your browsing session. This means that when you start browsing the website, the cookie is activated and remains active for a maximum of 15 minutes after your last activity, or until you log out.

An exception to this is the login cookie, which is stored on the device you use for browsing for 365 days, based on your decision.

2.8. Cookies from third parties

Third-party cookies do not originate from the Data Controller or the server hosting the website. These cookies are also stored by your computer, phone or tablet when you visit the site, as described below.

2.8.1. Google cookies

Google Analytics© files help monitor the site and provide information on how the site is used (such as the number of visitors to the site, the pages viewed, the country of origin of visitors – where users are browsing from – where users are „coming from” – which other websites – the browser used, operating system, internet service provider and monitor resolution currently in use, time spent browsing the site, when the site was left). We use this information to compile statistics and further develop the website.

The visit analysis with the settings we use results in anonymous statistical data alone, which cannot be used to identify your device (or you). However, Google Ireland Ltd., which provides the analytics cookies, may be able to identify your device and you in connection with its other services provided directly to you. This would be the case, for example, if you visit our website in the same browser in which you are logged into your Google account. However, even in this case, we cannot identify you or your device.

The data collected in this manner is also accessible to Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), the owner and operator of Google Analytics tools.

If you have consented to the collection of browsing data for marketing purposes, Google Ireland Ltd. will also use the above data for its own purposes to deliver targeted advertisements to the browser user. In doing so, Google Ireland Ltd. determines the area of interest that can be identified based on the browsing habits of the device in question by linking the data collected by cookies with the IP address of the device used for browsing, and then delivers targeted advertisements to that device.

Marketing cookies only work with your consent, identifying your device during data collection.

For further information, please visit the following pages: https://www.google.com/analytics https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2838718?hl=huA

Google Analytics cookies are so-called persistent cookies, which are stored for a maximum of two years, but in practice, depending on the type of cookie, this may be a few months or even a very short period of time.

For more information about cookies, including how to view, manage and delete cookies that have been set, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org page.

2.8.2. Facebook cookies and pixels

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook – 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland) provides online marketing services using cookies and pixels. Data processing during the use of the service is carried out by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland). Through this service, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. has access to the data described above, which is used to measure website traffic and map browsing habits. This data is stored permanently using Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.'s tools, but for a maximum of three months using cookies, which are stored on the device used by the User for browsing. The User can delete these cookies in their browser settings. No data is stored in your browser during data collection by the pixel. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. also uses the above data to deliver targeted advertisements to browser users. In doing so, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. determines the interests that can be identified based on the browsing habits of the device in question by linking the data collected by cookies and pixels with the ID of your browser or the IP address of the device used for browsing, and then delivers targeted advertisements to that device.

For more information on the above, please visit the following Facebook page: https://developers.facebook.com/products.
These cookies only work on the website with your consent.

3. Data processing related to cookies used on our website and log files

3.1. Scope of data subjects: all Users visiting the website, regardless of whether they use the services available on the website.

3.2. Legal basis for data processing: With regard to data processing that is technically essential for the provision of the service, Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services (hereinafter: Ekertv.) authorises the Data Controller to process the data necessary for the proper operation of the website. Such data is processed by log files and certain cookies. You can read more about log files in Chapter 4, and we provide information about the cookies used here below.

In accordance with the above, the legal basis for the processing of such data is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

On this legal basis, we only process data that is necessary for the user-friendly operation of the website, and we only process this data for as long as is necessary. This refers to technical data (e.g. IP address, type of browser used and screen resolution) that is necessary for the enjoyable display of the website's pages and the proper and convenient use of its functions. We do not transfer the data to third parties or process it for other purposes. In view of this, the processing of this data does not pose any risk to you, but the above purpose – the proper use of the website – cannot be achieved without the processing of this data. It is in our legitimate interest to ensure the usability of the website, as this is the only way we can make our services available electronically. Ensuring the availability of our website is essential for our effective operation. Therefore, we process the above data for the purpose specified here on the basis of our legitimate interest, which – since the data processing does not pose a risk to you – proportionally restricts your right to self-determination.

General visit analysis is performed by collecting anonymous data, so no personal data is processed in this regard.

The legal basis for data processing enabling marketing activities and visit analysis is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. When you start browsing the website, you can consent to the collection of data for marketing purposes and visit analysis by ticking the box in the pop-up window, and you can withdraw your consent by unticking the box. Although we do not process personal data based on visit analysis data, Google may potentially identify you, so we can only use visit analysis with your consent.

3.3. Determination of the scope of data processed:

Data processed to enable user-friendly browsing:

  • the web pages visited during your visit to the website and the order in which they were opened
the IP address of the device you are using.

Scope of data processed for online marketing activities:

  • pages of recommended packages viewed on the website,
  • measuring the frequency of visits to individual web pages on the website and the time spent browsing each page,
conclusions that can be drawn from the above regarding your interests,
  • the identifier of your browser.

In the case of storing data processed for the purpose of verifying access rights to the website (storage is at your discretion):

  • your email address (as your username) or your username,
  • password,
  • the IP address of the device you are using.

We conduct general visit analysis by collecting anonymous data, so we do not process any personal data in this regard.

3.4. Purpose of data processing: ensuring the user-friendly and secure operation of the website, as well as conducting online marketing activities.

Within this:

  1. a) Necessary and functional data processing (categories „Essential” and „Functional” in the pop-up window):
  • Identification of the device you use for browsing, recording of identification data – for the duration of your browsing session: based on your IP address. This makes browsing smoother, as without it you would have to identify yourself or repeat processes on every page you visit.
  1. b) Data processing relating to browsing habits: the following data necessary for the following purposes is recorded by us in an anonymous manner and cannot be linked to any individual. In this case, we do not process your personal data.
  • Measuring website traffic, measuring the frequency of visits to individual pages on the website, and measuring the browsing time on individual pages on the website in order to tailor the website to users' needs and learn about their interests.
  • Approximate location of the device used for browsing (country), for the purpose of mapping the geographical distribution of interest in our services.
  • Identification of the website from which you arrived at this website in order to learn about other topics of interest to those interested in our services.

By collecting the above anonymous data, we can measure the awareness of our service and the effectiveness of our marketing activities, and make them more effective.

We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) tools to collect this data. When you visit websites that use Google Analytics tools, Google cookies record your preferences and information, which also means that we can access anonymous data used to measure website traffic and map browsing habits.

c) Data processing for marketing purposes (category „Marketing” in the pop-up window):

If you have consented to the use of your browsing data for marketing purposes (by selecting „Marketing”), we may display targeted advertisements to you during your internet browsing.

When displaying targeted advertisements, we use Google and Facebook tools to display our own advertisements on your device, but Google and Facebook also use the necessary data for their own purposes, such as displaying third-party advertisements. Such advertisements are displayed based on your interests, which are inferred from your browsing habits.

In doing so, Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland) determine the interests that can be inferred from the browsing habits of the browser in question by linking data on browsing habits with the browser ID, and then deliver targeted advertisements to the device in question. This means that the data is not recorded directly in relation to you as a person, but in relation to the device you use for browsing, primarily your browser.

Google Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. do not have access to any further data mentioned in this notice other than the data described in this section.

d) Data assigned to the following purposes will be processed in a manner that can be linked to your person, but we will only have access to it during technical use when you log in; otherwise, it may be stored on your device:

  • your e-mail address or username and password, which may be stored for easier access (at your discretion, they will be recorded on your device)
  • When verifying your access rights, your email address (as your username) or your username and password (in encrypted form; we cannot see your password), and the IP address of the device you use for browsing.

3.5. Duration of data processing: Some of the data is processed during browsing, while certain data is stored in cookies for varying periods of time, but for no longer than two years.

Data necessary to ensure the user-friendly operation of the website (IP address, sequence of pages visited on the website during browsing), as well as the data necessary for checking access rights and ensuring usage rights, are recorded for the duration of the browsing session (i.e. for the duration of browsing the website) and are deleted at the end of the session or after a maximum of two hours. Such data is processed using our own IT system tools and is not accessible to third parties.
Your username and password can be stored permanently at your discretion, and are stored in cookies on your device. You can delete these in your browser settings, thereby controlling the data storage period.
We analyse visits by collecting anonymous data, so we do not process any personal data in this context.

The data used to analyse website usage habits is stored for a maximum of two years. The cookies that enable this are stored on the device you use for browsing. You can delete these cookies or prevent them from working at any time in your browser settings, as well as by clicking on „Cookie settings” at the bottom of the website and disabling the „Marketing” categories in the window that appears.

3.6. Method of data storage: electronically in our IT system. The cookies that provide the data are stored locally on your device. To facilitate access, the login details you have stored are also stored electronically on your device for this purpose.
3.7. For more information about information technology data processing using Google Analytics and Facebook tools, please refer to Google Analytics. https://www.google.com/intl/hu_ALL/analytics/support and Facebook https://developers.facebook.com/products page. Of the features offered by Google Analytics and Facebook, we only use those described above.

3.8. The Service Provider enables the viewing of videos available on the website through the use of YouTube, operated by Google Ireland Ltd., and Vimeo, operated by Vimeo.com, Inc. The Data Controller does not collect data in connection with the videos embedded on the website, but only performs the technical data processing necessary for their display. For more information on the information technology data processing performed using YouTube and Vimeo tools, please visit YouTube. https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies?hl=en-US on its website.

4. Log file (blog) entries

The IT system associated with the storage space used to operate our website uses electronic log entries. The log entries store the IP address, the type of browser used by the visitor, the internet service provider, the date/time stamp, the addresses of the referring and exit pages, and the number of clicks during the visit. This is done so that we can display our website properly on your device and, in the event of an operational error, we can trace the circumstances of the error, thereby making browsing more stable and secure if necessary. It enables us to manage and administer the website. The data is not directly suitable for identifying individuals and is stored for 30 days.

Data processing carried out by log files is otherwise performed in accordance with the conditions described in Chapter 3, with the exception that log files are not used for visit analysis and data recording and use for marketing purposes.
